Crofters Larder Fermented Garlic is made with Arran-grown garlic in a 3% brine solution. After fermentation, the garlic is drained, rinsed and stored in glass jars filled with rapeseed oil. Over time, the naturally nutty-tasting oil takes on a wonderful garlicky flavour, with all the benefits of preserved and fermented produce.
Like ordinary garlic, its uses are plentiful - blend a clove or two into dressings and dips, add to soups and stir-fries, or create salsa or pesto with a unique flavour.
